The win was the 40th of the year on the world’s professional tours for putters made by Odyssey Golf, a division of Callaway Golf (NYSE: ELY).

Kane used her Odyssey® TriForce® 2 Putter to shoot rounds of 68-66-71 at Fox Run Golf Club in St. Louis. She had just two bogeys over the 54-hole event, and she finished strong with three birdies over a four-hole stretch of the final nine holes.

“I told myself that all I had to do was get the ball on the green  I knew I could make the putts,” said Kane, who earned $120,000 by winning the Michelob Light Classic title. Kane’s victory included a bogey-free, six-birdie second round.

Kane is the third first-time winner in the last two weeks to use an Odyssey Putter. Meanwhile, Odyssey Golf Staff Professional Michael Campbell birdied the final hole of the Scandinavian Masters to finish solo second at the event. Using an Odyssey Dual Force Putter, Campbell shot 66-67 over the last two rounds – the lowest scores in the tournament.
