Brad Holiday Joins Callaway Golf Company As Chief Financial Officer

CARLSBAD, Calif./July 18, 2000/Callaway Golf Company (NYSE:ELY) today announced that Brad Holiday will join Callaway Golf effective August 15, 2000, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Holiday, age 46, most recently served as Vice President – Financial Planning & Analysis for Gateway, Inc. Prior to Gateway, Inc., Mr. Holiday was with Nike, Inc. in various capacities, including Chief Financial Officer – Golf Company, where he directed all global financial initiatives and strategic planning for Nike, Inc.’s golf business. Prior to Nike, Inc., Mr. Holiday served in various financial positions with Pizza Hut, Inc. and General Mills, Inc. Mr. Holiday has an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and a BS in Accounting from Iowa State University. Mr. Holiday lives in San Diego with his wife, Melissa, and their three children.
