Callaway Golf Staff Pro Annika Sorenstam Blitzes Field with Four-Stroke Win at 2004 ANZ Ladies Masters

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2004--Picking up right where she left off, Callaway Golf (NYSE:ELY) Staff Professional Annika Sorenstam yesterday launched her 2004 competitive golf schedule with a resounding four-stroke victory in the $800,000 ANZ Ladies Masters at the Royal Pines Resort in Gold Coast, Australia.

The #1 woman golfer in the world, Sorenstam closed with her second straight round of 65 for a 72-hole total of 19-under-par 269, four strokes clear of Karen Stupples of England. Sorenstam used Callaway Golf(R) clubs and a Callaway Golf ball in the victory, the 58th of her career.
